Using the Hardenberg Collection in the JALB Emden

The Johannes-a-Lasco-Library in Emden is an independent research library exploring the traditions of reformed protestantism in Germany. Its digital library reproduces the book collection of the theologian Albert Ritzaeus Hardenberg (1510-1574).

Accessing Documents

Step 1: Using the link from the EMTO-Database, you reach the 'virtual catalogue card' of the document. The shelf mark (Signatur) allows to identify the volume containing the requested document. Please note that the links are not persistent, so you should add this shelf mark to your citations.

Step 2: Now you click on the link Alter Druck. This takes you to the table of contents of the requested document.

Step 3: Now you click on the links in the table of contents (in the example Titelseite or 7) in order to read te document. The download of complete documents is not possible.

The button Gehe zu allows you to use a page number for navigation. To reach the first page of a document, use the button Erste, for the last page Letzte. The button zurück takes you one page back, vor shows the next page.
